Our Team

“Each of us brings unique gifts to the table, but what binds us is a deep commitment to people—creating spaces of dignity, connection, and empowerment where every person is seen, valued, and welcomed.”

Dr. Milton Keys

Dr. Milton James Keys is a preacher, teacher, and producer who has dedicated 25 years to ministry and using his God-given gifts to impact others. Born with cerebral palsy and given a two-year life expectancy, Milton defied expectations by earning three degrees, including a Master of Divinity and Doctorate in Ministry from Christian Theological Seminary, with his doctoral work focused on disability and the church. An ordained minister since 2007, Dr. Keys has preached and spoken at churches, conferences, and national conventions while producing 13 musical albums, four plays, a ballet, eight youth summits, and numerous other creative projects. His own struggles with employment and the barriers faced by people with disabilities led him to found his own nonprofit, Advocates Embassy (AE), an organization dedicated to helping churches and communities make their buildings accessible for the disability community.

Dr. Keys was also part of the early conversations surrounding the vision and conception of Embrace to Empower. As that vision developed, Two Eight Ministries came alongside Milton and helped provide support and resources that enabled him to establish Advocates Embassy and move that vision forward. Now, as Embrace to Empower officially launches, it is meaningful to have Milton return to the vision in a collaborative capacity and also as proof of concept for E2E. His lived experience, ministry background, leadership, and years of advocacy uniquely position him to help Embrace to Empower continue building bridges between the disability community and the church.
